The Mental Health care group are looking for several highly motivated, well organised and effective Registered Nurses to provide high quality complex clinical telephone triage and clinical assessment to individuals presenting with mental health illness/conditions, in psychological distress or acute crisis, resulting in a safe and appropriate clinical decision.
The "111#2" team will be the nurse led single point of contact for all urgent mental health needs in the CTM footprint as well as providing direction for all citizens across our 3 Local Authority communities who require advice and information in relation to their psychological and mental health wellbeing.
This post is office based, given the nature of this work, there will be no remote working. Flexible working is required in line with service need over 24 hours 7 days a week.
08:30am - 20:30pm Day shift 20:30pm - 08:30am Night shift
Main duties of the job
1. Manage a team of staff including Well-being Practitioners.
2. Act as a point of escalation and decision maker for clinical triage and risk management.
3. Support the Clinical Lead in the operational management of the Service which will be facilitated through the national 111 Service.
4. Provide highly specialised clinical advice to other mental health professionals, acting as the clinical decision maker when triaging individuals with sometimes multiple and highly complex mental health needs.
5. Work with team members to achieve service delivery expectations, ensuring an understanding of the service goals and objectives.
6. Deliver compassionate and focused care to those in need of mental health support.
7. Support the evaluation and management of clinical triage to ensure a range of recovery focused interventions, utilising Third Sector organisations and community resources.
8. Be flexible and adaptable to accommodate the needs of the Service.
9. In the absence of the Clinical Lead, take charge of the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Person Specification
Qualifications and/or Knowledge
* Professional qualification and registration- RMN, CQSW/Dip, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, (BPS) Qualification in Counselling Psychology
* Sound knowledge of clinical/service issues within area of practice
* Knowledge and application of care coordination
Experience
* Wide range of experience within a service-related setting
* Experience of high-quality clinical triage using, knowledge, skills, critical thinking and professional judgement
* Demonstrates research and audit experience
Aptitude and Abilities
