Sue Ross Recruitment is working with a specialist media company in the recruitment of an Account Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a creative media company that collaborates with leading clients within the retail, hospitality, and leisure sectors.
The Account Manager is the principal customer-facing contact, representing the mutual interests of the company and the client to achieve profitable delivery for both parties. Their interaction provides the first and lasting impressions that we make with our clients. The role has 5 key focuses:
1. Providing exceptional service: maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients (via meetings, telephone calls, and e-mails) by understanding the client’s needs and reflecting those needs to the business, as well as to new clients.
2. Retention: the maintenance of long-lasting and mutually successful partnerships with all clients, including the completion of all interim contract renewal negotiations.
3. Organic growth: selling as many of our goods or services as possible through understanding the client’s requirements and strategy, anticipating where we can support them with additional products or services, and selling a package to suit them.
4. Being the eyes and ears of the business: reporting back opportunities for development and/or service improvement, feeding back competitor information, market intelligence, or new business leads.
5. Working collaboratively within the business to ensure seamless service for each client.
Applicants must have relevant account management/customer service experience. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have managed relationships with clients in the hospitality sector.
This is a full-time, permanent role with opportunities to work on a hybrid basis after probation (2 days from home, 3 days in the office).
