Part-Time Customs Clerk (Maternity Cover) – Flexible Work Location
We’re looking for a Customs Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis for a 1-year contract to cover maternity leave. Potential to extend depending on business capacity. If you have experience in customs operations and are eager to work in a flexible environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Handling customs clearance processes, including arranging shipping line releases and deliveries.
2. Using ASM Sequoia software to manage and streamline customs declarations.
3. Ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations and requirements.
4. Communicating effectively with shipping lines and clients to coordinate logistics.
About You:
1. Experience working with ASM Sequoia software is preferred.
2. Familiarity with shipping and delivery processes, particularly arranging shipping line releases.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the working arrangement.
5. Available to start early to mid-December.
Location: We offer flexibility with this role, allowing for fully remote, hybrid, or office-based work from our Southampton office, depending on the candidate's preference.
