Let us introduce the role AWE is currently recruiting for a Production Planner to work in the central planning team within the Product Delivery Management Office. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating delivery schedules, analysing data, assessing processes and enhancing the way be plan operations. We need you to have the following: Experience of Production Planning. Experience of MS Office (Excel / Word / Outlook / PowerPoint / Project). Experience of working in operational environment, production, and or supply chain functions. Able to objectively make decisions based upon data. Experience of ERP / MRP2 systems. Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we’d like you to have experience in some of the following: SAP S4/HANA Primavera (P6) Inventory control processes. Lean principles. Integrated Operations Planning, encompassing Production, Maintenance, and Capital Projects. A relevant manufacturing or planning-related professional qualification. You will have responsibilities including: Integration of business unit schedules. Analysing operational, product and process data. Management and support of core operational systems. Generation of improvement project plans and estimates. Assist in development of a Rough-Cut Capacity Planning tool. Development and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Support users within the business units on use of the ERP/MRP2 systems and processes. Development of standard work to support business as usual tasks. Effectively communicate with stakeholders, both internal customers and suppliers. Continually improve data, processes and systems. Proactively resolve arising issues. Maturing the culture, processes and data, required in order to successfully implement a new ERP system (SAP). Reporting on progress, risks, and opportunities to senior management. Working collaboratively with the business units, to share best practice and to manage internal supply chains. Attending Visual Management board meetings ensuring all actions are being addressed. Communicating effectively verbally and non-verbally. You’ll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a busy environment and be able to manage your own workload.
