Job Title: Rehabilitation Support Worker - Barts NHS Trust Banding: 4 Location: London Start: ASAP Duration: 3 months Rate : £13-£17 Working hours: Monday - Friday We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Band 4 Rehabilitation Support Worker to join our Community Stroke Team at Barts NHS Trust. This role is based in London and involves providing essential support to patients in their own home environments. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with the rehabilitation and recovery of stroke patients, ensuring they receive high-quality care and support. What will your responsibilities be: As a Band 4 Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing hands-on support to stroke patients within the community. Your duties will include assisting with daily living activities, implementing rehabilitation exercises as directed by physiotherapists, and providing manual handling support. You will work independently, traveling around Tower Hamlets to visit patients in their homes, ensuring their safety and comfort. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation is essential, as is providing emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families.
