Job Summary
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant based in Leeds / Harrogate / North Yorkshire with at least 1 year of experience in e-commerce marketing or an aligned industry to join our team and support in creating and running marketing campaigns for our e-commerce clients.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Assistant, you will support the marketing team in executing and managing various marketing activities across CRM, PPC, Paid and Organic Social, PR, email marketing, and website management. You will also assist with administrative tasks, scheduling, and client coordination to ensure smooth operations within the team.
In time, you will have the opportunity to manage your own e-commerce clients and act as their internal E-commerce Marketing Consultant.
1. Email Marketing: Create and send email campaigns using platforms like Klaviyo, Dotdigital, and Mailchimp while managing CRM data.
2. Website & E-Commerce Support: Update website content, build landing pages, and assist in website optimisation and CRO audits.
3. Social Media & Content Creation: Help manage social media accounts, schedule posts, and draft marketing content.
4. Public Relations: Support the creation & distribution of press content, and manage inbound journalist requests.
5. Analytics & Reporting: Monitor Google Analytics, track campaign performance, and provide insights to improve conversion rates.
6. Client & Team Coordination: Support marketing projects, liaise with clients, and assist in executing e-commerce marketing strategies.
Requirements:
1. Must be based in the Leeds/Harrogate area.
2. Able to attend our Harrogate head office.
3. At least 1 year of experience in e-commerce marketing or an aligned industry.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse campaign data and make data-driven decisions in an e-commerce context.
6. Knowledge of e-commerce marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, PPC, and content marketing.
7. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
8. Proficiency in using Google Analytics and other website analytics tools.
Salary is £25k - £28k dependent on experience.
