Group Project Engineer
The NEC Group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to manage venue refresh projects across our portfolio. You will be part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary project team - managing building fabric, civil, mechanical and electrical works across our venues. This will include venue refresh, visitor improvement and other projects. Directly responsible for managing project delivery, budget, quality and program, you will work closely with our venue teams and supply partners to ensure delivery of the projects around our busy site activities whilst maximising value for money.
About You
We are looking for someone who has a proven project delivery record for complex and varied of scales of works, taking a customer focused and commercial approach to project delivery. Working as part of a team, you will be used to having accountability for managing project budgets and managing external supply partners, contractors and design teams. If you are qualified to degree level in engineering or a building related field then even better. We also welcome candidates with suitable a trades related background and site experience as this role involves actively involved in project delivery and management of our contractor base. Experience of Microsoft Office software is also needed.
