An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated candidate to join the club wide Performance Analysis Department at Norwich City Football Club. The ideal candidate will be committed and hard-working, with a wealth of enthusiasm and knowledge alongside effective communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the First Team Coaching Team and Head Performance Analysis to ensure all Performance Analysis services within the First Team run efficiently for players, coaches, and all staff. This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and will involve working some unsociable hours including weekends. Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead the development, maintenance and implementation of a club wide game model throughout all performance analysis processes. Lead post-match debriefing at a team, unit and individual level. Drive longitudinal individual and unit analysis to support player development. Provide analytical and technical support for all First Team match days (both home and away). Provide on grass support to coaches as part of the club wide training program through live clipping and feedback. Collaborate to produce daily performance analysis team meetings. Drive consistency across all performance analysis working practices and support club alignment, promoting collaboration. Assist in writing and continually updating the department’s standard operating procedures (SOP) documents. Personal Skills High levels of attention to detail. Highly organised and able to structure/file work. Clear communicator to key stakeholders. Strong experience of using performance analysis software’s. Strong understanding of both the tactical and technical aspects of football. Values and respects others, encourages collaboration Able to respond positively and embrace change within a fast-paced environment. Essential MSc Degree in a Performance Analysis-related subject. UEFA B Coaching License Minimum of 5 year’s working in elite football. Demonstrates a high level of tactical understanding of the game. Knowledge and expertise of industry standard performance analysis software’s, specifically Catapult Pro Video Suite and Hudl Suite.
