Are you are Qualified and caring Teacher? Prospero Teaching are looking for an outstanding SEN Teacher to join a specialist setting in Blackburn. You will be responsible for providing quality teaching to pupils of secondary age with complex needs, ensuring they are able to reach their personal full potential. You must have previous experience of teaching students with special educational needs, preferably in a specialist setting. You should also have a good understanding of the current SEN Code of Practice, and be committed to promoting the settings ethos of inclusion. You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons, and be able to differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils. You must be able to work collaboratively with other staff, carers and external agencies, to ensure that all pupils have the best possible educational experience.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK or SEN Setting/similar setting Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided) Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) SEN teaching experience (Essential) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide a minimum of two professional child related references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
