Hours: 4 on, 4 off (days) 7am- 7pm
Salary: Up to £33,000 depending on experience

Are you a Service Technician looking for the challenge of taking a mission driven organisation to its next level of success?
Ornua is actively seeking a Service Technician to join our Engineering Department as we continue our growth trajectory. As our next Service Technician you will carry out high frequency less technical repairs and planned maintenance to a wide range of high utilised assets. Maintain high standards of asset history and detail and forecast costs within a specified budget. You will also provide technical and behavioural coaching to peers and front line production colleagues.
The Service Technician role is part of the wider engineering team that works closely together to provide efficient, safe and regulatory compliance while solving technical problems that enable effective production.

Why This Role Is Valuable:
The Service Technician is responsible for leading on;
9. Planned maintenance of equipment and components to ensure reliable service and on target availability
10. Providing reactive support to the team as required
11. Contributing to zero loss projects and assist in the data capture and analysis ensuring targeted solutions are successful
12. Continuing the development of the PPM system and ensure a continuous improvement methodology is applied to the planning cycle
13. Identifying potential hazards/risks to the Health & Safety Manager/responsible person upon discovery and be proactive in ensuring corrective actions are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner

14. Similar experience within a manufacturing background or skilled production operative within the food and drinks industry
15. Keen eye for detail with an understanding of accuracy
