Miryco Consultants are supporting a high-performing and innovative General Insurance firm, which huge growth plans. The role will report directly into the Director of Pricing, and represents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to grow and embed themselves within the business.

About the Role:
As the Head of Pricing, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s pricing strategy, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing models across personal lines portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team, influence strategic decisions, and contribute to the company’s ambitious growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute innovative pricing strategies that align with the company’s growth and profitability goals.
* Lead, mentor, and grow a team of pricing analysts, actuaries, and data scientists to deliver actionable insights and data-driven pricing models.
* Oversee the design and implementation of pricing models, leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to optimize accuracy and competitiveness.
* Collaborate with underwriting, product development, and commercial teams to ensure alignment between pricing strategies and business objectives.
* Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform pricing adjustments and maintain a competitive edge.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including reinsurers and regulators, to support pricing strategies and compliance.
* Deliver regular performance analysis and reporting to senior leadership, highlighting opportunities for improvement and growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience in pricing roles within the personal lines insurance sector, with a strong understanding of the industry landscape and dynamics.
* A track record of successfully developing and implementing pricing strategies in high-growth or dynamic environments.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
* Proficiency in actuarial techniques, statistical analysis, and pricing tools, with knowledge of machine learning and predictive modeling being a significant advantage.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., FIA, FCAS, or similar) are preferred.
Location: Flexible, offices across England, remote working available.
