We are looking for an experienced and passionateHead of Revenueto join The Lanesborough team.

Responsibilities & Duties include:
Yield/Revenue Management
* Under supervision of the Executive Head of Sales & Marketing and in collaboration with the Head of Reservations, the Head of Revenue acts as a knowledge expert and a highly informed communicator on both internal and external revenue management matters.
* The Head of Revenue provides directions and oversees the revenue strategy together with the Executive team and ensure its implementation.
* The Head of Revenue participates in the definition of commercial objectives and the adjustment of strategies according to the economic, geopolitical, competitive and calendar events of the destination.
* Works in the development of weekly, monthly and/or quarterly annual budgets, forecasts and reforecasts.
* Defines the hotel's pricing policy and works on its optimization in relation to the market (competitive intelligence and resulting recommendations).
* Ensures the statistical monitoring of all data analysis by segment and by market, and accommodation turnover.
* Is responsible for the preparation of the weekly "Revenue Meeting" which he/she leads.
* Ensures the opening and closing of all booking channels according to the strategy and tactics in place.
* Maintain all rate information, package codes and other computer codes pertinent to the daily operation of the hotel.
* Participates in the development and monitoring of the website in collaboration with the marketing and digital team.
* Competitor Analysis provides the hotel with accurate information on competitor prices, business trends, availability, etc.
* Top Producers maintain accurate data of the hotels top revenue producers which are readily available and incorporates guests spend in all areas of the hotel.
* Optimizes the visibility of the hotel on the different distribution channels.
* Participate in ensuring the hotel's good referencing on the different distribution channels in collaboration with the Digital Marketing team.
* Supports the reservations team in the application of the given yield rules and provides an educational framework in the revenue management approach and culture.
* Collaborates within the Oetker Collection on special projects (ad-hoc requests).
* Participates to the corporate strategy for Oetker Collection (implementation of new tools, meeting of partners proposing new technologies).
* Management of campaigns with OTAs/Key Distributors to drive rank/revenues v comp set.
* Monitor the F&B outlets to ensure we maximise all business opportunities and we are open for availability at all times.
* Analysis top selling dishes/ menu review with the F&B team to drive additional up-selling.
Reports
* Produce weekly forecast reports/monthly analysis of the previous month and OTB/ daily pick- up reports.
* Produce monthly No show & Cancellation report, queries on previous charges easily located & explained.
* Responsible for regular feedback on all revenue management issues (business mix; demand; pricing etc.), reporting weekly and monthly on business results to the Executive Team.
* Review STR performance and set strategies with the S&M team to drive focused business opportunities.
* Ensures the effectiveness of existing reports, and the creation of new materials that can be useful for decision-making.
Standard Operating System
* To maintain a set of core operational standards that are followed through each day, e.g. Rooms on the Books, daily review of close-outs, daily management of all reservations systems.
* To be fully conversant with all hotel policies and procedures (i.e. fire, health and safety, hygiene, security, credit, grievances etc.)
* Performs the PMS configuration if required, maintains the CRS and channel manager up to date, as well as in the extranets of the various partners.
* Knowledgeable about the CRM tool in use (B2C & B2B) and active on the maintenance of the tool.
* Ensures the proper compliance of GDPR rules in the management of the tools used
Other
* To perform any other tasks that may arise and bear direct relation to the successful completion of the job as set out by the Executive Head of Sales and Marketing.
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
* Previous experience within a similar role in a 4 or 5* establishment with experience in the luxury London market preferred. Knowledge of the luxury hotel market and its segmentation
* Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management would be beneficial although not essential.
* Excellent command of the English language is essential and ability to produce reports and communication/vocabulary in written English. A second language is also desirable.
* Knowledge of E-Marketing and distribution systems
* Good listening skills and the ability to anticipate needs.
* Must be analytical, organised and methodical, can work on their own initiative with little supervision under a highly pressured environment.
* Must have the capacity to read situations and respond accordingly
* Well groomed and professional appearance.
* Thorough understanding of Opera PMS, Ideas, SynXis, LightHouse and TravelClick systems preferred
* Displays excellent interpersonal skills.
* Manages stress & priorities.
* Ability to communicate and demonstrate pedagogy.
* Ability to analyse and audit.
* Ability to manage computing tools such as Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Internet.
