Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to drive the sales and growth of both our Forecourt Protection Systems and our facial recognition solution across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to expand our footprint across the UK and contribute to the ongoing success of VARS Technology.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving the growth of our forecourt protection systems.
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fuel retail and broader commercial sectors for both our Forecourt Protection Systems and facial recognition systems.
2. Promote and sell VARS, demonstrating the benefits of facial recognition technology in enhancing security and operational efficiency.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and offer tailored forecourt protection solutions.
4. Lead negotiations and close sales deals to achieve revenue.
5. Develop and implement strategic sales plans.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
7. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, etc.) to align customer feedback with company objectives.
8. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
9. The role will involve travel, including time being spent away from home. Flexibility and adaptability are key to succeeding in this role.
Experience & Skills
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the technology or fuel retail sectors.
* Knowledge of forecourt operations or protection systems is highly desirable.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Capable of working independently.
* Ability to travel across the UK to meet clients and attend industry events.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Full UK driving license.
