Salary: £45-55,000
Bonus: £8,000 Welcome bonus
Bonus: 21% of your annual salary
A leading Children's home provider is seeking a talented and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our team and oversee the operations of a new EBD home.
My client supports the growth of our Registered Managers and offers continuous training and development opportunities to support the progression of your career with us. Many of their Registered Managers have progressed into Regional Managers and some further into Divisional Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Care Delivery:
1. Ensure outstanding care and progress for children within the home.
2. Strategic planning and oversight of day-to-day management.
3. Collaborate with professionals to provide therapeutic care tailored to each child's needs.
Team Leadership:
1. Act as a positive role model for staff and children.
2. Mentor and train staff to achieve qualifications like QCF Level 3.
3. Oversee staff schedules, performance reviews, and appraisals.
Operational and Financial Management:
1. Drive service development and maintain financial performance.
2. Manage budgets effectively to ensure the home's sustainability.
Safeguarding and Compliance:
1. Ensure adherence to safeguarding regulations and children's home legislation.
2. Promote the wellbeing and protection of children.
Requirement
Experience and Qualifications:
1. At least 3 years of senior-level experience in a similar environment.
2. Hold or be working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
3. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., The Children Act 1989, children's home regulations).
Skills and Attributes:
1. Proactive and enthusiastic leader.
2. Hands-on approach with excellent people management skills.
3. Financial and budget management expertise.

2. Full driving license and ability to work flexibly, including on-call duties.
