Title: Timetable Consultant Department: Timetabling Team Location: Sheffield. Hybrid, 3 days a week in Office, 2 days from home Contract: Full-time, Permanent Reporting to: Operations Manager Role Overview Our Timetabling Team is seeking a talented Timetable Consultant to support and enhance our innovative software solutions, aimed at simplifying complex school timetables. This role extends beyond traditional customer support—it’s about empowering schools by aligning their scheduling needs with solutions that prioritise teacher choices, reduce workloads, and enhance the educational journey for pupils. In this role, you’ll join a collaborative, customer-focused team that actively supports schools through hands-on training, consulting, and solution-building. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging, hands-on training sessions for both new and existing customers, ensuring users are confident and proficient. Facilitate onboarding processes, including data migration, system synchronization, and integration with MIS (Management Information Systems). Provide responsive email and phone support, addressing technical queries with empathy and precision. Design and implement tailored timetables, working closely with school contacts to create optimal solutions. Maintain current customer records to ensure high-quality service and smooth communication at every touchpoint. Collaborate with our training and development teams, offering feedback to improve training materials and product features. Provide on-site support when needed and assist with software testing. Identify and report bugs and contribute feature suggestions to our development team for continuous product improvement. Your Ideal Skills & Experience Exceptional communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Minimum of two years’ experience in whole school timetabling or school data management. Proficient ICT skills, including experience with MS Office, databases, and spreadsheets. Knowledge of school MIS systems and timetabling software. Ability to work effectively in a team with energy, adaptability, and the skill to prioritize in a dynamic environment. An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a similar role is preferred.
