Principal Physicist London: The Harley Street Clinic Full time: 37.5 hours per week Permanent Salary: Competitive plus a range of fantastic flexible benefits The Medical Physics Department at the Harley Street Clinic is recruiting for a Principal Physicist to lead in the running of their Brachytherapy Service. The Principal Physicist is responsible for the day to day management of all aspects of the service as well as Legislative Compliance, Service Development, Being the lead physics contact for the industry leading urologists and oncologists involved in Brachytherapy. In our London facilities, as well as the LDR prostate brachytherapy service, HCA has four Varian TrueBeam linacs equipped with surface guidance, a GammaKnife (source changed in early 2024), a busy Molecular Radiotherapy service, and two dedicated CT scanners. We have a significant SABR and SRS practice. Medical Physics at HCA UK is undergoing an exciting period of development and construction work has begun to make way for an Elekta Unity MR-Linac at The Harley St Clinic. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to contribute to the wider work of the department gaining experience and training in the areas above.
