Volunteering Opportunities at a Care Home
Our volunteers are a great asset to our homes and care teams. They support us to enrich our residents' lives and remain truly connected to the communities in which they live. From school children who volunteer to take part, to retired professionals who want to give something back, our volunteers are as diverse as our teams and residents.
We are a not-for-profit organisation specialising in care homes for the elderly across England and Scotland. We have 18 services in Scotland, which provide tailored care and support to people with a range of care needs.

Travel Expenses
It may be necessary for a volunteer to travel to a location other than their normal place of volunteering; they will be reimbursed travel expenses in line with the Travel and Subsistence Group Procedure. It is at the discretion of each home to cover the travel expenses from the volunteers' home to the care home as a goodwill gesture.
We are mindful of individual financial situations, and we do not want to put up barriers to volunteering, so please feel free to have a chat with your supervisor.
