The Test Engineer will design test plans, generate test specifications, execute testing procedures, identify and diagnose faults, and provide solutions where possible, to ensure all works meet relevant industry regulations and client specifications/requirements Job Role Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and prioritise their own work in delivering the testing and validating of PLC / HMI / SCADA solutions in a highly regulated nuclear industry. Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Test Planning and Execution System Validation Troubleshooting and Diagnostics Documentation and Reporting Collaboration with Stakeholders Compliance and Safety Bachelor’s degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proficiency in control systems, embedded systems, and related hardware/software; experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus) Hands-on experience with testing tools and equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, data acquisition systems, and automation/simulation software.
