The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Generator Engineer shall carry out service and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanicalcritical power equipment.

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Generator Engineer role
Carry out service and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanicalcritical power equipment.
Maintain and service critical power supply equipment and associated electrical equipment, mainly generators in a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites across the South of the UK.
Carry out load bank testing, site surveys, inspections, fault finding, repairs and testing of generator sets and associated generator equipment.
Carry out installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis to generators and critical power equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Generator Engineer Requirements
Experience as a Service Engineer, Electrical Engineer, UPS Engineer, Generator Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Service Technician or similar.
Field Service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering generators.
Solid understanding and experience within critical power applications such as LV control panels, electrical distribution, power electronics, electrical installation, generators or similar.
Full UK driving license.
Flexible for Overtime/part of the on-call rota.
BS7671 (18th Edition) Wiring Regulations, ECS/CSCS Card would be desirable qualifications & experience.
A technical electrical/ mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous.
