Purchase Ledger Administrator Newton Abbot, Devon £26,000 per annum Our client, a leading Southwest based business, is currently seeking an adept Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis. As the Purchase Ledger Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the organisation's finance functions in their daily operations. This role involves high-volume transactional processing, requiring efficient and accurate management of financial transactions. The responsibilities: Manage purchase ledger invoices for the organisation and its subsidiaries. Oversee multi-currency electronic payments in USD, GBP, and EUR. Conduct month-end accounts payable reconciliations. Maintain accurate supplier records and statement reconciliations. Prepare financial accruals, prepayments, and journals as needed. Provide cash flow forecasts and creditor days reports. Offer cross-functional support and represent the organisation professionally. The candidate: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, with AAT studies considered advantageous. Proven ability to work effectively in a busy office environment. Proficiency in using various accounting software packages, including Excel. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues across departments.
