This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to lead a dedicated social work team supporting disabled children and their families. About the Role As a Team Manager, you will oversee a team providing a full spectrum of social work services for disabled children, including: Assessments and care planning. Supporting children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection Plans. Managing cases in pre-proceedings under the Public Law Outline (PLO) and care proceedings. Providing services for Looked After Children. Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure holistic, needs-led support. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and improving practice, ensuring the highest quality service delivery, and driving positive outcomes for children and families. This role requires innovation, leadership, and a strong commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care. What We're Looking For We are seeking a passionate and experienced manager who: Holds a Social Work qualification and is registered with Social Work England. Has significant post-qualification experience, ideally within children's disability services. Demonstrates strong leadership skills and experience managing social work teams. Is committed to developing practice and improving outcomes for children and families. Has experience working within statutory frameworks and leading on child protection, court proceedings, and care planning. Has excellent partnership-working skills to collaborate effectively with multi-agency partners. Why Join Us?
