Female Support Worker £11.44 per hour - Elsdon Mews, South Shields Permanent: 39 hours per week Driver required, you would need to hold a UK valid driving licence to be considered for this role. About the role Here at Elsdon Mews we support 6 adults with learning disabilities in their own home and provide the necessary support for them to live an independent and full life. As a Support Worker you will assist people with daily living tasks which may include, domestic services, social support, personal care, support with medication and meal preparation. We deliver creative, dynamic and person-centred services providing a range of individualised support to people living in shared supported living properties and individual tenancies. You must have the ability to follow detailed support plans in order to better enable the people we support. Previous experience is desirable for this position although full training will be provided. A DBS will be required for this role Shift Patterns A typical shift would be between the hours of 8am - 9pm. All shifts are 13 hour shifts min 2 shifts per week, therefore you would need to be able to work minimum contract of 26 hours a week covering all shift patterns.
