About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced plasterer to join our team in Gillingham. Working with Medway City Council on a variety of residential works, including occupied, void properties, and communal areas, our team produces work to the highest standards and delivers outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities include:
1. All aspects of repairs, from minor repairs to whole house refurbishments, including patching leak repairs and full plaster finishes due to the age of the properties.
2. External works, including sand and cement renders.
3. Processing all activities in association with tasks/works electronically using a handheld device (PDA), such as worksheets, timesheets, photographic evidence of works before/during/after, van stock replenishment, booking of annual leave, vehicle inspections, safeguarding issues, risk assessments, and method statements.
4. Participating in call-out cover as required to ensure contract compliance and service user satisfaction for emergency repairs.
Role Criteria:
* Able to complete a clean job.
* Good knowledge of all plastering backgrounds, including damp issues.
* Experience with hack off bonding, multi-finish, dot and dab, ceilings, artex, and damp proofing.
* UK full driving licence.
