Long-Term Teachers are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and nurturing Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) which supports children and young people aged 4 - 16 who are at risk or have been permanently excluded from mainstream education.

About the Role:
As a member of this dedicated team, you will:
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
* Apply a strong SEND pedagogy in planning and preparing curriculum aligned lessons
* Embrace outdoor learning and practical, hands-on experiences to bring lessons to life
* Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment rooted in relational practice and trauma-informed approaches
* Build positive, trusting relationships with learning to support their emotional and educational development
* Work across multiple sites in the Bridgewater area, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for a qualified teacher with:
* Primary teaching experience and/or background in working with young people with SEND
* A passion for supporting children who have faced barriers to education
* The ability to differentiate learning for a diverse student population
* A creative and proactive mindset, committed to innovation in teaching
* Experience or understanding of trauma-informed practice and nurture-based approaches
