MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a Public Sector Organisation in their search to add an IT Technical Officer in their ICT team. The Role: Perform Helpdesk duties and respond to calls via the organisations Helpdesk, regarding IT equipment, demonstrations, upgrading of hardware, mobile devices, switches, printers, photocopiers, telephones, audio visual equipment etc. Under direction of IT Technical lead - Provide technical support hardware/software to all departments, staff throughout all the organisation premises. Use IT management tools to ensure correct deployment and configuration of Endpoints with agreed software required in both educational and business areas of the College. LAN Connection to Computer Systems. Assist senior staff to manage allocated ICT systems to ensure service is maintained and ensure that all ICT operational procedures are completed to ensure a consistent approach across the orgranisation. Assist in the induction / training of new ICT staff and work-placement students. The Person: A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in a relevant subject area g. HND in Computing or Information Technology. AND Minimum of 1 years experience in managing an IT Service Management Team. Experience in helpdesk support, troubleshooting and Microsoft account support.
