Job Purpose
To lead and inspire a combined team of operations and maintenance employees across the Greater Manchester county as part of the Bioresource Operations leadership team. The Production Manager will performance manage their team and the assets on digestion and dewatering sites to ensure a safe, efficient, effective and compliant outcome.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* A General Manager role, not purely technically focussed, responsible for the operation and maintenance of wholesale assets on site
* Responsible for the operations and maintenance budget for the site and the delivery of the financial business plan
* Responsible for asset performance and meeting the operational business plan for site
* Accountable for maintaining standards and driving improvements in personal and process Health, Safety and Wellbeing
* Performance management and training and development of direct reports in accordance with all Human Resource policies and procedures, including regular contact, one to one meetings, performance reviews etc.
* To ensure both they and their team members work within the clear framework given to ensure effective operations and maintenance of their assets
* To balance financial, customer service, regulatory compliance and people priorities in order to deliver the business plan and sustainable and effective operations and maintenance regimes
