Our client is looking for an experienced Customer Communications Advisor / Officer.
To provide first point of contact resolutions to customers by either responding to and resolving their enquiries and tracking service requests to colleagues as appropriate. Ensure our customers have access to high quality customer-focused services by dealing with all requests professionally and in a timely manner in accordance with the agreed timescales.
You will provide support to our customers by phone, email and also via video appointments.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a high level of customer care.
2. Understand, support, and advise a wide range of customers who contact the Environment, Roads and Facilities Department through all channels of communication.
3. Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
4. Demonstrate good keyboard skills with speed and accuracy.
5. Exhibit excellent listening skills, showing patience and empathy with customers.
6. Handle challenging customers calmly and professionally.
7. Remain focused during busy periods.
8. Manage customer interactions effectively.
9. Process payments over the phone.
10. Utilize strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office IT Packages.
Requirements:
1. The ability to communicate in English is essential.
2. The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
