Business Manager (Wealth Management) - London, Lombard Street
We are working with an Appointed Representative of St. James's Place Wealth Management who are looking to take on a new Business Manager at their London office. You will become a core part of the business, building strong external relationships and supporting advisers. Our client offers great benefits including hybrid working and a competitive salary.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and drive cases on the go
2. Chasing clients on outstanding docs / confirmation happy to proceed
3. Manage Final Salary cases through / non transfer proposals
4. Manage withdrawals / encashments
5. Manage any drawdown cases
6. Deal with client queries where able
7. Ensure all clients have their annual review meetings booked with a view to provide outstanding service and protect ongoing advice charges
8. Manage Turnover – business issued correctly
9. Update Business Tracker and track business issued
10. Supporting on paraplanning where necessary
11. Undertaking analysis of investment transfers via FE Analytics and preparing transfer proposals
12. Running Cash Flow models via Voyant to support review meetings or transfers
13. Supporting in preparation of review documentation
14. Business Development & Marketing projects surrounding existing or prospective clients
15. Analysis of source of issued business to refine business development strategy
16. Analysis of Costs
17. Support the Operations Manager and the T&D Manager where needed
Experience & Requirements
1. Relevant experience in Wealth Management or regulated Financial Services
2. Candidates with SJP related experience would be of particular interest
3. At least 2 CII RO exams
4. High level of attention to detail & excellent organisation skills
5. High standard of written & verbal communication skills
6. Highly IT literate, including advanced MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
7. Keeps calm when faced with conflicting demands and handles these effectively
8. Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a professional, proactive and positive attitude
9. Ability to work autonomously as well as working on shared goals as part of a team
10. Manages time effectively with the ability to multi-task
