Job Description
As Site Supervisor, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality electrical or mechanical and building services engineering maintenance to client properties.
This will involve conducting fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installations on-site.
Your primary focus will be on delivering a world-class building services maintenance service, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Your expertise and dedication will play a key role in maintaining the operational integrity and safety of the client's facilities, contributing to their overall satisfaction and success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Surveying sites where electrical systems are installed
2. Drafting electrical installation plans and technical diagrams
3. Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems in public spaces and buildings
4. Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations
5. Supervising ongoing electrical system installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed
6. Using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete projects
7. Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job
8. Identifying electrical problems and repairing them
9. Advising the company’s management when to replace aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards
10. Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
11. C&G 2382 -BS7671 IEE Wiring regulation (Current Edition)
12. C&G 2391 Test & Inspection (Current Edition)
13. External Low Voltage Authorised Persons Qualification
14. IOSH Managing Safely
15. First Aid (Include Resuscitation)
16. Significant experience in providing electrical building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation, and inspection/testing
17. Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance
18. Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties
19. Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements
