Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team in providing plumbing services across various settings. The ideal candidate will have expertise in assembling, plumbing, and welding, along with the ability to operate power and hand tools.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Carry out pipefitting tasks including cutting, bending, and welding pipes
- Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and propose solutions
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing problems
- Operate power tools for cutting, drilling, and shaping pipes
- Perform heavy lifting tasks when required
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects
Requirements:
- Proficient in plumbing techniques such as soldering, threading, and sealing joints
- Competent in basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Experience with commercial driving for transporting equipment and materials
- Skilful in using hand tools for pipe assembly and installation
- Capable of welding pipes as needed
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair plumbing systems efficiently
