We are now recruiting for a Senior Social Care Support Worker to assume responsibility for the assessment of care and support needs, and to be involved in the day to day provision of the high quality care and support we provide!
The Avocet Trust will also pay a further £50.00 for a sleep over shift!
In addition to this as our Senior Social Care Support Worker you will:
~Supervise a whole staff team in the delivery of care and support to vulnerable people.
~Follow our policies and procedures in assisting in the development of care plans, behavioural and support plans.
~Working in partnership with families and other agencies as a key worker.
~Providing effective and regular supervision to support worker staff within our service.
~Overseeing service budget / resource and rota systems to meet our standards.
What we want from you:
Supporting our service users is hard, not every day is the same and you will be challenged but we will support you.
We will make sure that you have full training, regular mentoring and on-going career development in a supportive working environment.
At least 1 years' experience within a similar role is essential.
