Academic Appointments are working with a York secondary school who are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant.
This is a temporary position until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of being extended further.
The OUTSTANDING rated Catholic school is conveniently located near York city centre and is walking distance from the train station.
Responsibilities include:
1. Provide financial and administrative support to the school under direction and guidance of the Business Manager.
2. Ensure purchase order requisitioning and staff expenses claims forms are completed accurately.
3. Maintaining the stocks and supplied of curriculum/general office equipment as required by the school.
4. To undertake financial administration and reconciliation of catering, educational visits, transport, lettings and any other income streams received into the school.
Requirements:
5. Experience in a related Finance/Administration role.
6. Strong IT Skills.
7. Familiar with accounting software and ICT packages.
8. Experience working in a busy office environment.
9. Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one.
