The successful candidate will have knowledge of the entire digital marketing mix, with excellent communication skills and the ability to optimise digital channels in response to passenger needs.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and optimising our paid digital marketing channels and tactical promotions, in alignment with the overall digital and commercial strategy.
Through the optimisation of our digital ecosystem, this role will look after all paid digital marketing channels driving to poferries.com, ensuring quality traffic to the site. The role will use insight and data to inform media strategies, ensuring we remain competitive and increase our direct business.
This role will manage a team of two to deliver all digital marketing and performance activity, as well as manage agency partners. The team will be responsible for cross-functional working to ensure digital channels, promotions and content are coordinated in line with business requirements.
This role will have innovation at the heart of it, looking at new digital ways to engage audiences to poferries.com to drive direct business, as well as keeping on top and ahead of our travel industry competitors.
The role:
* Lead and manage the performance of all digital performance-led marketing channels for P&O Ferries, in line with the digital ecosystem.
* Manage and analyse digital performance across all channels, including display, PPC, partnerships and paid social media, coordinating activity with wider campaigns, content marketing and CRM.
* Collaborate closely with interdepartmental teams to align digital activity to support quality traffic to poferries.com, inline with the customer journey.
* Manage and work alongside agency partners to deliver digital activity within agreed ROAS, CPA and CPO targets. Continually optimising the digital marketing budget against opportunity.
* Manage and grow a team of two marketing execs to ensure:
o All promotional activity is aligned to business requirements.
o All digital channels are managed, and performance is optimised based on data and market conditions.
o Teams are constantly working interdepartmental to ensure best practice and to align performance, with a data led approach to decision making.
The person:
* People management experience (Desirable)
* 3-5 years paid digital marketing experience in a Digital Marketing role, with specific expertise in:
o PPC / SEO
o Display
o Social
* Experience using:
o Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook Ad Manager and other Ad platforms
* Experience in analysing data and building recommendations to aid digital performance.
