Job Title: Senior Investment Proposition Manager

Royal London Group is seeking a Senior Investment Proposition Manager to design, develop and maintain our current and legacy investment propositions; and to promote these through engagement with Distribution and the external market. The successful candidate will work with colleagues across the Group to ensure the investment solutions being developed are and remain fit for purpose for the products they underpin and most importantly the customers they serve.
About the role
* Design and maintain the investment propositions, including the flagship Governed Range with a focus on the Workplace Pensions Market.
* Input to the Investment strategy and support the Head of Investment solutions in executing the plan to achieve the objectives
* Ensure proposition is aligned to both Advisor and customer objectives and delivering group targets, including ESG and net-zero ambitions.
* Support Distribution in take-to-market activities as appropriate.
* Collaborate with colleagues to assist delivering the same goal and organise and prioritise the collective workload.
About you
* An expert in the field of pensions and investment: a thought leader and innovator who can inspire others.
* Ability to deliver compelling and innovative propositions
* Excellent market, regulatory, financial services and product knowledge
* Strong understanding of how ESG and the sustainability agenda, and how that can be incorporated into investment propositions
* An in depth understanding of investment matters (ideally IMC qualified or equivalent)
* Ability to translate complex issues into relevant proposition developments
* Experience of retail pension products, IFA distribution channels and the challenges they face in the current regulatory climate
