This is a shift based role including nights
To provide engineering support to the Voyager fleet of aircraft by the co-ordination of technical data to enable AirTanker to meet service availability and provide planning support to Line Maintenance. Communicate daily to all the relevant stakeholders the status of the airtanker fleet. Will deputies for the Maintenance Control Supervisor when needed in their absence. Actively participate in the MSIM and UTOS with a focus on the key metric’s of Cure periods and UTOS events and managing the control of ADD’s
Key Responsibilities
* Accountable and responsible for oversight of fleet compliance involving critical tasks related to ensuring the safety, functionality, and compliance of Voyager and A330-200 aircraft utilising the knowledge and experience gained in a hands-on maintenance role.
* Collaboration through communications with other aviation professionals including flight crew and maintenance engineers throughout AirTanker and Customer base to ensure that all stakeholders are informed at the correct time in appropriate language of all maintenance activities within the AirTanker Business. This includes commercial notifications to our core customer. Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Offering technical support to maintenance engineers and flight crew operating at the AirTanker main base and all deployed operational locations. Ensuring adherence to aviation regulations and safety standards set by civil and military authorities.
* Management and Control to guarantee well-organised and effective AOG support and recovery, ensuring that safety is prioritised and all safety concerns are addressed promptly to expedite the recovery of the AOG aircraft and return the aircraft to service as efficiently as possible.
* Manage routine inspections of aircraft systems and components to ensure optimal aircraft condition assisting maintenance with technical guidance when performing troubleshooting and repairs to identify and diagnose technical issues on the aircraft / aircraft system whilst Supporting lessons learned and and developing Unscheduled Time Out of Service improving the product delivered to all of our internal and external stakeholders.
* Manage and control emergency response situations until the incident response cell is initiated, providing prompt emergency Subject Matter Expert guidance and advice prior to senior management involvement.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* EASA Part-66 Basic B1 or B2 Licence with Airbus A330 Type Rating with experience working A330 MRTT aircraft.
* Previous demonstrable experience working within a Maintenance Control environment.
* Flexible, able to adapt to change /work to tight deadlines in a complex and demanding environment.
* Demonstrable experience in working RUSADA Envision for the purposes of aircraft technical management.
* Ability to lead change processes within the working environment
