We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join a company within the healthcare sector who are on a mission to provide a higher standard of healthcare digitally for patients, carers & staff. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications across the entire technology stack.
Their latest projects are utilizing frameworks like .NET Core, Angular/React, and Identity Server with hosting and services in Azure & AWS.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse software requirements.
2. Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
4. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
5. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure software quality.
6. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in software development processes.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in software development using C# and .NET Core.
3. Minimum of 2 years of commercial experience in software development using JS framework (Angular/React).
4. Proficient in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
5. Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
6. Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
7. Strong knowledge of web application frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET Core, MVC) and client-side frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular).
8. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
9. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
1. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
2. Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
3. Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit).
4. Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
5. Experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.
6. Experience in the healthcare domain.
