Job Summary: Content Manager - Fixed Term Contract
Summary: Plan and create communications, editorial calendar, and engagement campaigns for external communication channels, curate brand-led copy, and drive engagement with target audiences.
As a Content Manager, you will be responsible for planning and creating the communications, editorial calendar, and engagement campaigns for all our external communication channels, as well as curating brand-led copy across our marketing channels. You will work collaboratively with the wider Social Media, PR and Marketing teams to deliver high-quality content that drives engagement with our target audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop communications for digital and print, including websites, advertising campaigns, and publications, emphasizing key brand themes and ensuring consistency.
* Create, manage, and deliver the editorial content plan, ensuring multimedia content is effectively reused across channels.
* Write, ghostwrite, and/or edit articles, creating content, customer experience, and marketing campaign messages for our nursery, corporate, and recruitment audiences.
* Manage key projects, meet deadlines, and KPIs, identifying needs for visual material and reporting on content performance.
* Commission and liaise with internal and external content producers to create content, directing and authorizing content briefs and managing production timelines.
* Use data and numerical detail effectively to inform strategy, measure impact, and drive quality.
Collaboration and Leadership:
* Work under the guidance of the Head of Content and Communications and the wider Marketing team to manage and produce a robust and comprehensive editorial and multimedia content calendar.
* Provide expert guidance to operation teams in communicating sensitive messages to customer, client, and staff audiences.
* Lead meetings with your team and wider teams to review and analyze upcoming activities and plan content creation, scheduling, and workflow.
* Liaise with key stakeholders across Bright Horizons to bring information and content ideas to life.
Essential Experience:
* Experience in editorial roles and the ability to produce excellent, engaging, typo-free copy.
* Experience in creating differentiated content for external audiences.
* Excellent spoken communication skills.
* A track record of producing multi-layered communications.
* Experience with project management.
* Managing content across various audience groups.
Desirable Experience:
* Understanding of the early years education sector framework and operational requirements.
* Working in an international company to balance local, national, and global communication requirements.

Qualifications:
* A degree and/or significant relevant experience.
* Higher degree and/or professional qualification in, and/or substantial practical knowledge of, content and communication production or related discipline.
