Job Title: Agile Delivery Manager - Hybrid / Cardiff Location: Cardiff office when required (This may be once a week - To be confirmed) Salary/Rate: Up to £530 a day Inside IR35 Start Date: February / March 2025. Job Type: 6 Month Contract (with scope to extend) Company Introduction We are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to join our client in the Risk Management industry. The successful candidate will be able to work onsite in their Cardiff office when required. Required Skills/Experience Previous proven project leadership experience Strong experience in Kanban or Scrum SDLC knowledge and experience managing web based application projects You should be able to demonstrate the following behaviours and capabilities: Detail-oriented, driving change to your teams with positive outcomes Present information in a concise and effective manner, ensuring messages are received, understood and all parties are aligned Motivate or inspire others to aim for higher levels of achievement Adopt new ways of doing things in pursuit of adding value to customers and the team Actively foster diversity and inclusion, valuing and respecting differences to achieve team harmony and enable higher team performance Learn from challenging experiences, recover and continue making progress towards objectives without reducing pace Align short-term priorities with strategic and long-term objectives Job Responsibilities/Objectives Support 2-3 cross-functional agile product development teams as they efficiently deliver features and exciting capabilities (teams are usually between 4 - 8 members, depending on the deliverables) Work closely with the Software Development Lead and Product Owner to ensure that the teams remain closely synchronised and upcoming features are well planned Ensure project resources and budgets are tracked and kept up to date. Develop and distribute timely status reporting with key metrics to appropriate stakeholders. Identify project risks & issues escalating where appropriate in a timely manner; ensure impacts are communicated so all parties are aligned; partner with project stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate project impacts Make recommendations for improvements to existing processes and procedures Ensure timely use of project and technology tools to help drive accountability.
