The Role
We are looking to recruit a Ward Administration Support Officer to join the Surgical ward at University Hospital Wishaw.
The Ward Administration Support Officer will provide efficient and effective administrative/clerical support to a receiving unit, to ensure the smooth running of the department and to release Clinical staff to perform Clinical duties.

What we'll need you to bring
8. Desirable to have a minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative/clerical role.
9. Proficient IT Skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft office packages.
10. Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.
11. Excellent communication skills.
12. Excellent time management skills.
13. Ability to work under pressure.
14. Post holder should possess or be prepared to works towards ECDL.
15. Appropriate level of training in Management of Aggression
It would be goo if you also had:
16. Educated to standard grade
17. Desirable to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative/clerical role
18. Experience working in confidential setting
19. Knowledge of NHS systems
20. Knowledge of office procedures
21. Knowledge of data protection
22. Good keyboard skills
23. Flexible
