Job Summary
Must Have Structured notes experience to be considered
Collaborate with business stakeholders, front-office teams, and technology partners to deliver solutions for structured notes and equity derivatives. Focus on understanding business needs, documenting requirements, and supporting the development of innovative tools to enhance pre-trade workflows and client onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Gathering: Work with traders, product managers, and other stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements for structured notes and equity derivatives.
2. Process Analysis: Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements to streamline pre-trade processes.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business users and the technology team to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
4. Documentation: Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flows using tools like Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
5. Testing Support: Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by defining test cases, validating outcomes, and ensuring solutions meet business needs.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all solutions adhere to regulatory requirements such as MiFID II while supporting risk management processes.
7. Change Management: Support the onboarding of new products and clients by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring smooth implementation.
Skills & Qualifications
1. Core Skills:
2. Strong understanding of structured products (notes, warrants) and equity derivatives.
3. Proficiency in process modeling (BPMN/UML) and Agile methodologies.
4. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration.
5. 3+ years as a Business Analyst in financial services or investment banking.
6. Experience working with front-office teams or trading environments is highly desirable.
7. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Familiarity with technology concepts like REST APIs or data flows (not hands-on coding).
2. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting structured products (e.g., MiFID II).
