Basemap is a leader in the production and analysis of mapping and transport data. Our software enables the calculation of travel times over road networks using different modes of transport, such as cars, cycles or walking; and combined with information on public transport timetables, such as train and buses, gives complete and accurate data on travel for consumers, businesses and transport organisations.
The Sales Manager will report to the CEO, shape our sales organisation, and scale revenue to the next level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting a sales strategy, managing the sales team, and developing strategy, tactics, and sales plans.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
1. Responsible for all company sales revenue
2. Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
3. Evangelize the product and personally help close the largest deals
4. Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives
5. Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
6. Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally
7. Provide accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts
We are looking for someone with an understanding of sales methodology, strong leadership and team-building skills, and knowledge of processes and prospecting techniques while selling to new customers and existing accounts. Knowledge of GIS software would be an advantage.

Salary: C£75K OTE
