We are looking for a hard working NMC Registered qualified nurse to deliver high quality care to our patients on Swinley Ward within the surgical directorate. We are a 26 bedded female Surgical Ward & Gynaecology Assessment Unit. Our surgical patients include urology, colorectal, breast, gynae, and ENT; however, we also care for outlying medical and orthopaedic patients.
Swinley Ward is a fast-paced ward with high acuity and a dedicated team of nurses that will support you into your new role. We offer training and development opportunities for you to develop your skills.

This post is for 36 hours per week and is maternity leave cover. Please note that whilst this post is fixed term/secondment, it may become permanent in the future.
Main duties of the job
Under the supervision of the ward manager, the nurse is responsible for the provision, organisation, and direction of nursing care of the patients in his/her care. To communicate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and high quality care is provided to all patients.
