Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnered with a manufacturing/installations business in Doncaster who are looking for a HSE Coordinator to join their business.
The business have experienced exponential growth over the last couple of years and are fully committed to safety at all levels. Duties & responsibilities include:
1. Update health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with local, state, and national regulations as well as industry best practices.
2. Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standard. ·
3. Conduct HSE Audit inspections across site and manage corrective actions accordingly.
4. Lead the creation of the HSE training and provide evidence of competency and learnings across the business
5. To work in a way that engages with employees at all levels in maintaining and improving Health and Safety standards.
6. To assist in the development of procedures that take into account legislation and best practice.
7. The assessment of risk and the implementation of suitable control and improvement activities to reduce any identified risks, including general risk assessments, manual handling, fire
8. The investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses, working with those involved to develop improvements to prevent reoccurrences.
9. Liaise with external agencies and internal support functions, such as Occupational Health.
10. Involvement in the Health and Safety committee, actively promoting awareness of health and safety issues.

11. Safety experience in a manufacturing/installation/engineering environment
12. NEBOSH or working towards
13. Strong communication skills
14. Previous experience auditing and delivering training
