As a Data Journalist, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex payments data into compelling insights for our reports, articles, and events. Your work will help shape industry discussions and inform decision-makers across the payments ecosystem. Your role Reporting to the Editor, you will: Analyse industry data to identify key trends in payments, including transaction patterns, consumer behaviour, and financial crime insights. Develop compelling content, from market intelligence reports to interactive visualisations and infographics. Conduct research into emerging industry topics, regulatory changes, and competitor benchmarks. Support flagship events by contributing data-driven insights and post-event analysis. Collaborate with colleagues across editorial, research, and working groups to align content with member needs. What we’re looking for Strong experience in data analysis and visualisation (Python, R, D3.js, or similar tools). A background in journalism with a knack for turning complex data into clear, engaging stories. Experience creating interactive charts, infographics, and reports. Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to present insights in an accessible way. Passion for the payments and fintech industry, with a keen interest in its evolving landscape.
