Site Manager at Stakesby Primary Academy
Required for an April 2025 start
23.75 hours per week over 52 weeks per year (negotiable hours during school holidays)
Interviews: Thursday 20th March
Due to the retirement of our experienced Site Manager, we are looking to recruit a self-motivated, reliable, multi-skilled, proactive and organised Site Manager to fulfil this key role associated with the smooth running of the Academy.
The fundamental part of the role will be premises management of the academy buildings and grounds. This entails the maintenance and security of the building and grounds, ensuring the cleanliness of the site as a welcoming, safe and secure environment for pupils, staff and visitors, and taking responsibility for ensuring full compliance with current health and safety legislation.
You must also be willing to undertake routine maintenance, including painting and decorating, DIY and general repairs. There will be some later working on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays for after-school clubs; for Academy Improvement Committee meetings, special events and parents' evenings in which flexibility is essential. The Site Manager is expected to attend to emergencies outside of academy hours; therefore, a full driving licence is essential if you do not live within walking distance of the school.
You will be responsible for all record keeping in respect of maintenance and health & safety and must therefore possess strong ICT, literacy and numeracy skills. Training on how to use the required systems will be provided.
