About us: Based in Feltham, we are privileged to benefit from a good variety of cases and a wonderful loyal client base. Our well-equipped surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards. Our practice is bright, spacious and air-conditioned and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, separate dog, cat and exotic wards, and in-house laboratory facilities. You will be working alongside our practice owner who qualified in 2006 and has grown the practice significantly since joining in 2020 and recognises the importance of providing the best veterinary care and a great working environment. You will be joining a supportive and stable team of 4 Vets, 2 RVN’s, 1 SVN, 2 VCA’s, 3 Receptionists and 1 Practice Administrator. Our exceptional nursing team bring with them a wealth of experience, are very involved in cases and are trained to perform Schedule 3 tasks. We work closely with neighbouring Vets4Pets clinics and can offer cardiac ultrasounds and more complex surgeries on site, from a certificate holder. Feltham is 30 minutes from Central London by train and under 15 minutes from the M25/M3/M4 and only 2 miles to Heathrow airport and we have plenty of parking and are close to a great selection of local amenities and transport links. We are also close to the green spaces of Surrey and Middlesex. About you and the role: You will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You’ll have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about, the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. They key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. This role can be full or part time, including 1 in 3 Saturdays.
