FINTEC recruit is supporting hiring for a Civil Engineering Design Project Manager. This is a permanent role based in Leicester with salary negotiable by experience up to circa GBP90,000 plus benefits. Working for a leading Consultancy business working across industries such as water, environmental, infrastructure, energy and more. You will be joining a specialist highways team focussing and managing design of large highways and infrastructure projects. You will require a broad knowledge of highways design and project management, including design management of large multidisciplinary projects.
Responsibilities
• Leading and reporting on project design deliverables and outcomes in a client facing role.
• To supervise, direct and reviewing design input from internal staff and external consultants.
• Mentoring and support for other team members and junior staff
• Attend client and internal meetings in reporting progress
• Budget control for projects and overview of quality aspects
Skills and experience required for the Civil Engineering Design Project Manager:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (HNC/degree) with Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, or working towards.
• Experience in highway design, with significant exposure to managing National Highways, Local Authority projects.
• Knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and National Highways' Procedures and Project Control Framework (PCF) Process.
• Expertise in collaborative design environments, including BIM and 3D modelling for project delivery.
• Familiarity with design protocols, common data environments, and project management systems.
Able to pass UK Security Clearance
