A new opportunity available for an Assistant Technical Manager!
Working closely with the Head of Technical, your role will be a key driver of technical standards across the business, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and leading training initiatives to foster a culture of high standards in food safety and quality and continuous improvement. In addition, you'll work closely with your stakeholders, third parties and a strong support to the New Product Development (NPD) with technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Quality and Compliance:
* Oversee food safety compliance across the business, ensuring adherence to standards such as HACCP, BRC and third party accreditations
* Identify and implement opportunities for improving processes and product quality across operations.
Training and Leadership:
* Develop and deliver effective training programs to embed a culture of food safety and technical excellence and continuous improvement.
* Lead by example, promoting best practices and accountability at all levels.
Client and Innovation Support:
* Collaborate with stakeholders, third parties/customers to address technical queries and ensure satisfaction.
* Work closely with the NPD team, providing technical expertise during product development and reviewing specifications and processes to meet customer requirements.
