This role will have a rotated shift pattern, shifts will be between Monday - Friday 8 am - 6 pm.
A Bit About The Job
The right candidate will handle both inbound and outbound telephony support for direct protection customers, with the opportunity to progress into assisting online queries through a live chat platform. Given the nature of the calls, we are looking for someone who can communicate with professionalism, patience, and empathy, ensuring customers feel heard and supported. You will proactively manage existing applications, engage in meaningful customer conversations while adhering to regulatory requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to drive the best customer outcomes.

• Strong communication skills, including an excellent phone manner, active listening, and the ability to build rapport while demonstrating empathy.
• A collaborative team player who is eager to learn, provide outstanding customer service, and approach challenges with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Confident in handling sensitive or difficult conversations with professionalism and the ability to guide customers through complex situations.
• Risk-aware with a problem-solving mindset, ensuring customer needs are met while adhering to compliance standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently without compromising on service quality.

• Starting salary: £23,900
• Bonus opportunity - 6% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
