Contract: Permanent Location: Hybrid (Head Office: Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne) This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office once a week Hours per week: 37 Salary: Up to £25,000 depending on experience About the role We’re excited to be looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our Regulatory Reporting team. The Regulatory Reporting Team are responsible for the production, validation and submission of all statutory data returns to our regulators, government departments and other partner organisations. The team collaborates with internal operational and technical teams to ensure that our data systems and processes support regulatory data submissions. In this role you’ll have exposure to the regulatory landscape and processes around qualifications and assessments in the UK. In addition, this role provides an exciting opportunity to get experience across the full Power Platform Stack (Power BI and Fabric, Power Automate, Power Apps; Canvas & Model Driven) during our ongoing process of transformation. How you’ll make an impact: • Developing and maintaining reporting solutions, assist with ad-hoc requests, and ensure compliance with regulatory and partner requirements • Supporting data quality checks, cleansing, validation, and the creation of data dictionaries and metadata for accurate and organised data management • Identifying and recommending process improvements to enhance data collection, submission efficiency, and reporting capabilities • Providing data analysis to support evidence-based decision-making and address gaps in data collection processes • Fostering a collaborative environment, ensure personal development, and prioritize out-comes, impact, and interdependencies in workflow We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following: • Level 3 qualifications, or equivalent • Strong computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel), knowledge of any of the following would be an advantage; relational databases, Power BI, Python (pandas, matplotlib) or R, and the wider Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps). • Ability to work flexibly under pressure with effective time management, while thriving in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with stakeholders • An understanding of the UK education and examination system would be advantageous • Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders, with a range of technical skills Feeling inspired?
